After four years and thousands of collective hours worked, our new synthesis book is finally published! Shifting Sands: Environmental and cultural change in Maryland’s Coastal Bays was officially released on Monday June 8 down on the shores of Sinepuxent Bay.

From the first meeting about the book way back in February 2005, this project has been a labor of love for all involved, and we are grateful for the support of our partners at the Maryland Coastal Bays Program and Maryland Department of Natural Resources. We look forward to many other productive collaborations! Shifting Sands is also the flagship book for our brand-new IAN Press publishing division. Please visit IAN Press to find out more and purchase the book.
