The Integration and Application Network (IAN) is a collection of scientists from a variety of institutions co-ordinated by Professor Bill Dennison (the Vice President for Science Application) at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science.

There are several core staff members headed by Bill Dennison based at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, as well as several staff located in Annapolis at the Annapolis Synthesis Center (ASC) and the Chesapeake Bay Program Office (CBPO). With the EcoCheck program, IAN also has staff through the NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office, based at the Cooperative Oxford Laboratory.

IAN facilitates mentoring of science communication skills through its graduate student, internship and summer student programs.
