Science Communication
Cutting the cake for the release of Shifting Sands, the book on Maryland's Coastal Bays, released by IAN Press. The celebratory cake was designed to look like the cover of the book, which can be seen to the right. Shifting Sands contains information regarding the history of these coastal lagoons, current water quality and biotic integrity information, and recommendations to preserve and restore these fragile ecosystems.
