UMCES Logo in Vector Format?
« on: May 08, 2007, 10:51:58 am »
Hello, I'm putting together a PDF for a Bay-related project I'm part of.  I'm trying to find vector-based logos/seals for the various institutions involved in the project.  UMCES is one of the institutions that I have had no luck in tracking down a high-quality logo image.  Can anyone point me in the proper direction?  Also, if anyone knows of a collective resource for vector images of various universities/institutions, that would be a goldmine.  Thanks!

Hi Dave,

I have attached two versions of the UMCES logo - the traditional blue and the 'colorized' version. Either are acceptable.

We do have a collection of vector logos that we have collected for publications when collaborating with these groups. I think perhaps we might need to check whether we are allowed to distribute these or not, but I think it might be a worthwhile library to add to our symbols for the next update.

Regards,
Adrian

PS I have attached two files - the PNG is simply for browser preview - please download the eps for the vector versions.

Thanks for the prompt reply!  Very helpful indeed.

I look forward (with hope) to the possibility of a future library with such logos/symbols included.  Hopefully that will be possible.

Regards,
Dave
