Fynbos Species
« on: April 17, 2010, 06:59:51 pm »
This is a request for several for typical fynbos (mediterranean shrubland in South Africa) species.
  • Chondropetalum tectorum, Family: Restionaceae (Cape reed family). I just need one symbol showing a single clump of reeds.
  • Protea Repens, Family: Proteaceae (sugarbush). Ideally four symbols: 1)closeup of a branch with a flower or two, 2) Entire shrub with a few flowers, 3) A burned shrub with brown/burned flowers and only a few brown leaves (no green), 4) A seedling

Thanks!

This is a request for two more typical fynbos (mediterranean shrubland in South Africa) species.

  • Protea Laurifolia, Family: Proteaceae (bearded sugarbush). Ideally four symbols like Repens. The distinguishing features here are the darker 'bearded' flowers and broader leaves
  • Erica baueri, Family: Ericaceae (Bridal Heath). Just one symbol.

Thanks!
