Duties: Lead and manage the research projects on ecology and management of tropical ecosystems, focusing on alien invasive plants.

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, School of Environment and Life Sciences, Charles Darwin University
Position: Associate Professor of Environmental Science/Ecology
Duties: Responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the environmental science and ecology disciplines. Led a research team investigating the impacts of disturbance on savanna plant ecology, with a focus on weed and fires as disturbance agents. Developed a weed risk management system for the Northern Territory.

Northern Territory University, Tropical Savannas CRC (TS-CRC)
Position: Education Project Leader (Lecturer B)
Duties: Responsible for the TS-CRC Education Project, including managing the budget, directing the education program, and supervising four staff members undertaking the development and delivery of environmental management courses in the Higher Education and Vocational Education sectors. The team included staff members from both the James Cook University and the Northern Territory University, and focused on the development of cross- accreditation of graduate courses between the two Universities.

Duties: I worked as part of a team investigating the effects of Mimosa pigra in the NT. I assisted with the design, implementation and reporting of a range of descriptive and experimental studies.
