Dingyu Hu is a UX Researcher with the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, supporting the Chesapeake Bay Program's Web Team. She has a passion for unraveling the intricacies of user experiences, and brings to the table both UX and strategy-related knowledge backed by a master's degree in Communication, a master's degree in Human Factors and Engineering, and six years of experience in the field of UX research. Her research approach is grounded in advocating for a problem space research methodology, as she finds it to be a particularly effective way to understand user needs and behaviors. She has a profound appreciation for delving into the complexities of human behavior through the lens of social science, allowing her to unearth valuable insights that drive user-centered solutions.
