The Pacific Banana Slug is the second-largest species of slug in the world; growing up to 25cm (9.8 inches). It is native to the forest floors along the Pacific Coast of North America.
Pacific Banana Slug (Ariolimax columbianus)
The Red Squirrel (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus) is the most widely distributed squirrel in Canada. This small squirrel (they average about 230 grams) is superbly adapted to a life in the coniferous forest.
