The Integration and Application Network (IAN) has been working with the Harte Research Institute (HRI) since 2012 with the long-term goal of establishing a report card for the Gulf of Mexico. In 2019, we published the first Texas Coast Ecosystem Health Report Card as a significant first step towards this goal. The Expanded Texas Coast Ecosystem Health Report Card process will build on this previous work to develop a comprehensive, geographically based ecosystem health report card for the Texas Coast, and for up to four bay-specific report cards that can be seen as geographically specific components of the Expanded Texas Coast Report Card.
