Bailey works as the Restoration Coordinator with the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES) at the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). In his role he primarily coordinates the Bay Workgroup, but also assists with communications, legislative requirements, weekly reports, manages grants with DNR, and sits on mutliple Chesapeake Bay Program workgroups. Bailey is from Northern Virginia and has been a lifelong Chesapeake Bay Watershed resident. He has a B.S in Marine Science from the Univeristy of South Carolina and an M.S in Wildlife, Aquatic, and Wildlands Science and Management from Texas Tech University.
