Underground Underwater

2026-01-06 — 2026-09-30

The Underground Underwater project will create an immersive exhibit that tells the story of how waterways, marshes, and forests were important parts of Harriet Tubman’s world and show how they are being impacted by climate change. Working in collaboration with the Harriet Tubman Freedom Center, Maryland Department of Transportation, and VRCOLAB, IAN will create habitat maps and graphics of the Ben Ross Homesite and Thompson Quarter for the past, present, and future.
